We chose the name of our organization mindfully, reflecting the substantive Industrial/Organizational psychology, Human Resources Management, Applied Social psychological and Economic resources we bring to your organization, as well as the need for new perspectives  and ways of solving problems in the workforce.

Through its evolution from a survey research, selection and assessment firm to an innovator with a vast portfolio of research, Alinea Group has never wavered from its fundamental belief that its success depends upon making a contribution to the success of its customers. As such, Alinea has maintained a standard of excellence through channeling university professors, senior managers, and broadly experienced consultants research, experience and knowledge into easily used tools for organizational growth.

President

Ivy K. Yeung, M.S.
holds a Masters Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Her professional emphasis has been on job analysis, personnel selection, performance appraisal systems and training. She also has experience in assessing the impact of cultural differences on work preference. Her research for the last few years has been in diversity and alternative work schedules.

Ivy has developed systems and trained management on how to interview and select outstanding performers for their organizations. She has also developed training programs for employees ranging from understanding diversity to time management. Questionnaire and survey development and management has been an integral part of her experience. Ivy is a member of the American Evaluation Association.

Vice President

Daniel E. Martin, Ph.D.
is an accomplished behavioral researcher, trainer and business management consultant. Formerly a Research Fellow for the US Army Research Institute as well as a Personnel Research Psychologist for the US Office of Personnel Management, Dan is currently assistant professor of Management at Cal State Hayward. He has trained organizations in topics such as conflict resolution, gender issues, humor in the workplace, diversity and leadership. Dan holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational/Social psychology.

Dan is published in various professional journals including Intelligence, Military Psychology, Skeptic Magazine and the Journal of Applied Psychology and is a professional member of the National Speakers Association and the American Evaluation Association.
